The Comfort Care Program is the preventative maintenance program, which we offer to our customers. This program entitles the customer to a maintenance check of your heating system in the fall or winter and cooling system in spring or summer.
GAS HEATING
1. Check air filter(s)
2. Clean and inspect burner assembly
3. Clean and adjust pilot
4. Clean and check ignition system
5. Check blower motor and wheel for cleanliness
and lubrication
6. Check motor bearings for wear
7. Check belts and pulleys
8. Visually inspect heat exchanger
9. Check vent piping for corrosion and pitch
10. Check and clean condensate trap
11. Check drain hose
12. Check gas pressure and adjust if necessary
13. Check temperature rise across furnace
14. Check all safeties and limits
15. Check thermostat operation
16. Take CO readings in flue and house
17. Observe the complete furnace cycle
18. Review findings and make recommendations
COOLING
1. Check condensing unit
for cleanliness
2. Check all wiring and connections
3. Check starting contactor contacts
4. Check electrical lock-out circuits
5. Check amperage and voltage to the condenser fan motor
6. Check amperage and voltage to the compressor
7. Install gauges and check operating pressures
8. Check superheat/subcooling
9. Check for adequate refrigerant charge
10. Check air temperature across the condenser
11. Check the insulation on the suction line
12. Lubricate all moving parts
13. Check belt and adjust tension
14. Check filter(s)
15. Check air temperature across the evaporator
16. Check that condensate line is open
17. Check the thermostat operation
18. Review findings and make recommendations
